5. 10. 2015

A new secure detention centre has been opened by the Czech authorities in a former prison in the village of Drahonice, west of Prague. 240 male refugees will be held here.

In all, the Czech Republic illegally and irrationally imprisons some 750 refugees. Most of them are held in the secure detention centres in Zastávka near Brno and Vyšní Lhoty in Northern Moravia.
