Research posts at Paisley University
Centre for Contemporary European Studies, University of Paisley
The Centre is likely to be awarded further University funding to
support one or more research studentships in its areas of special
interest and we are keen to hear from interested candidates. The
studentship(s) will be offered at standard research council rates and
the studentships in this tranche need to be taken up as soon as
practicable, if possible before July 1999.
The Centre has three main broad areas of research interest:
(a) The economics and politics of post-communist transformation (with
special reference to Poland, Czech and Slovak Republics)
(b) The
politics of the EU policy process (c) Cultural studies focussing on
migrant and Hispanic literatures.
