Write for the BCSA prize |
Entries are sought for a new competition run by the British Czech and Slovak Association. The BCSA has established a prize, to be awarded annually to the best 1,500 to 2,000-word piece of original writing in English relating to the history, politics, science, economies, arts and literature linking Britain with the Czech/Slovak republics, or describing society in transition in the republics since 1989. The writer of this year's winning entry will receive £300 which will be presented at the BCSA annual dinner in London in November 2002. The piece will be published in the December 2002 issue of the British Czech and Slovak Review. Submissions are invited from individuals of any age and of any educational background. |
